Let’s go deeper into the structure of algebra. You’ll learn to factor by grouping, use identities to simplify expressions, and explore rational expressions — including how to add, subtract, multiply, and divide them with proper restrictions. We’ll also introduce the Euclidean division of polynomials, connecting arithmetic logic to algebraic form.

Functions come alive through their transformations. You’ll describe a function’s domain, range, variation, and sign — then see how parameters a, b, h, and k affect its graph. Together, we’ll explore piecewise and step functions, learning to read and interpret how their rules shape their behavior.

You’ll explore quadratic expressions in their many forms — general, standard, and factorized — and see how they reveal different insights about the same parabola. You’ll learn to use the quadratic formula, analyze vertex, axis of symmetry, and intercepts, and connect algebraic form to geometric meaning.

We’ll extend your work with systems to new methods and representations.
